Instructions and Help about Cappmis

See, a ppm is a great tool to decide which projects reap the highest benefit for your company at a strategic level. However, in many companies, agile teams also use JIRA for their operative sprint planning. Now, those tools are like two different worlds and these can drift apart until data quality suffers and good decisions can't be taken anymore. The secret is in the sprints, and as you know, a sprint in JIRA has a start date plus a duration. Your resource allocation in CA ppm gives you information about your plant capacity. Now, wouldn't it be great to see how much capacity there is for each sprint? And here starts the awesomeness. We added a new page in JIRA that will combine your JIRA sprint planning with the resource allocation from the CA ppm project. On this screen, you see the current and the future JIRA sprints with their stories, plus the backlog on the right. The lower section displays the total allocation of the whole project team in CA ppm. This way, you see how much capacity you have for one sprint and how much of this capacity is being consumed by the stories. There's more. You can drag stories from sprint to sprint, from the backlog to a sprint, and vice versa. The best of all, there's benefit for everybody. Your scrum...
